RRA APPSTUDIO LLC (“we”, “us”) operates the Old Photo Animator AI mobile app (the “App”). This policy explains what we do — and don’t do — with your information.
No account required
The App does not require you to sign in or create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or password to use the App.
Your photos and images
You own your photos. We do not claim any ownership of, or rights to, the images or videos you upload or create — they remain entirely yours.
When you restore, colorize, or animate a photo:
- The image is sent to our AI processing provider, Google (Gemini for photo restoration and colorization, and Veo for animation), solely to generate your result in real time.
- Your uploaded photos are processed transiently and are not permanently stored by us.
- Generated results are automatically deleted from our servers as soon as they are delivered to your device.
- Your photos are not used to train AI models — ours or Google’s.
No account or sign-in is required to use these features.
Faces in Your Photos
Your photos may contain faces. Because Old Photo Animator AI is a photo app, here is exactly how face data is handled.
Collection & use
We do not perform facial recognition, and we do not create or store faceprints, face maps, face templates, or any other biometric identifiers. Faces are never used to identify or recognize a person. Any faces in a photo are used only to restore, colorize, or animate the image you submit — nothing else.
Sharing
To generate your result, the image is sent to Google (Gemini for restoration and colorization, Veo for animation) for real-time processing only. This processing is governed by the Google APIs Terms of Service and the Gemini API terms, under which Google provides the same or equal protection of this data as described in this policy, does not use it to train its models, and does not receive it for any other purpose.
Retention & storage
We do not store your photos or any face data on our servers. Generated results are held only briefly, behind a private, unlisted link, and are automatically deleted from our servers as soon as they are delivered to your device.
Deletion & revoking consent
Because nothing is retained, any face data is effectively deleted the moment your result is delivered to your device. You consent before each feature uses your photo, and you can withhold or revoke that consent at any time simply by not submitting a photo. You can also erase everything on your device at any time via Settings → “Delete all my data”.
How your results are stored (and deleted)
Generated results (enhanced photos and animated videos) are held only briefly on our servers, behind a private, unlisted link, and are automatically deleted from our servers as soon as they are delivered to your device. Nothing you process is retained on our servers after delivery. Please save any results you want to keep to your device.
Information we do collect
- Anonymous device identifier — a random ID stored on your device, used to prevent abuse and apply fair-use limits. It is not linked to your identity.
- Purchases — processed by Apple (and Google Play on Android). We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred; we never see or store your card details. Your credit balance is stored on your device.
- Diagnostics — anonymized, aggregated app performance and crash information to keep the App working.
How we use information
Solely to provide and improve the App, process your requests, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising or cross-context behavioral tracking.
Third-party services
- Google (Gemini & Veo) — processes your photos to generate results; governed by Google’s API terms and not used to train Google’s models.
- Supabase — backend infrastructure that briefly holds your generated result before it is deleted after delivery.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments.
These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Your choices and rights
Because we don’t hold personal accounts or retain your images, there is little personal data to access. Within the App, Settings → “Delete all my data” erases your on-device history, files, consent choices, and the anonymous usage record we keep. Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data; contact us to exercise them.
Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International transfers
Your content may be processed on servers outside your country (including by Google). We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated date.
